The Regency
We were happy with our reception venue. Then we found out that the nicest restaurant in town is opening an event center close to our church. Its several storefronts in our historic downtown. They were willing to price match the room rental, and the food was much better quality for less money!
We did a tour of the unfinished space. They are estimating to be completed in January and our wedding is in March. Should be fine.

Grand fountain at the entrance. Bar/DJ will be by the staircase on the left, buffet will be set up between columns on both sides, dance floor in the middle, tables on the sides.

OK, so I know food doesn't photograph well...but I wanted to make note of the dishes we tried while its still fresh on my mind. The food may not look very pretty (Especially since I didn't remember to take pictures of some dishes until we started eating...) but it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
